    The Canadian Coast Guard has a requirement for the drydocking and refit of the Canadian Coast Guard Ship CCGS Gordon Reid. The work period for the refit is 02 January 2026 to 30 January 2026. A bidders' conference will be held in Port Hardy, BC. Arrangements have been made for a site visit to be held onboard the vessel immediately after the bidders’ conference. The sourcing strategy related to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in the Area of Origin of the vessel (Western Canada).

    AMENDMENT TO CLOSING TIME: Please disregard the SAP Business Network posting response closing time and CanadaBuys posting closing time. Unless specified otherwise in the tender opportunity, all required supporting documentation and responses must be submitted by September 22, 2025 at 2pm EST. All responses submitted after 2pm EST will result in the submission being declared non-responsive. Requirement: The CCGS Cove Isle is presently operational and will have the Alongside Refit conducted at the CCG base in Parry Sound. Offerors are required to provide CCGS Cove Isle Alongside Refit (VLE) to Canadian Coast Guard in accordance with Annex E Statement of Work which includes cargo hatch supply and installation, replacement of portholes, windows and weathertight doors, steering gear compartment escape hatch supply and installation, replace the emergency boat davit, fabricate and install boat cradle, all as described in the Annex E Statement of Work. Canada intends to award one (1) contract.
