Who We Are
The Canadian Marine Industries and Shipbuilding Association (CMISA) represents Canada’s marine industrial base at the national level, uniting shipyards, technology developers, and service providers that are essential to the country’s defence, security, and economic resilience.
We engage with the Government of Canada to strengthen domestic capability, modernize supply chains, and advance innovation across the marine and shipbuilding sector. CMISA advocates for policies and programs that enable Canadian companies to deliver the technologies, skills, and capacity required to support sovereign maritime capability and long-term national interests.
