CAE and Saab sign MoU for Canadian Patrol Submarine Project

CAE and Saab have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to cooperate on a training and simulation solution for Canada’s next generation submarine fleet.

The agreement, signed during CANSEC 2025, marks a significant step in Saab’s commitment to deliver a comprehensive, sovereign submarine capability for Canada, supported by Canadian industry.

Under the MoU, Saab and CAE will jointly explore opportunities to provide world-leading training systems and simulation technology solutions for the Canadian Patrol Submarine Project (CPSP). This collaboration aims to ensure that Royal Canadian Navy submarine crews are equipped with advanced, mission-ready training capabilities to operate and maintain the next generation of submarines.
